Tyrese Maxey Takes Over as Sixers Stay Perfect.

Tyrese Maxey was in full takeover mode tonight. The 76ers guard dropped 39 points and dished out 10 assists, leading Philly to a gritty 139–134 overtime win over the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards came out swinging, putting up 40 points in the first quarter, but Maxey kept answering every run. Joel Embiid added 25 points and 7 rebounds, while Kelly Oubre Jr. had a strong showing against his former team with 17 points and 11 boards.

Philly stays undefeated at 4–0, and Maxey continues to prove he’s that guy, a steady leader and explosive scorer who’s quickly becoming the heartbeat of this Sixers team.
