SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm have acquired 2025 All-Star Brittney Sykes from the Washington Mystics in exchange for Alysha Clark, Zia Cooke, and a 2026 first-round pick.

Sykes, a first-time All-Star this season, is averaging 15.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 steals. A four-time All-Defensive Team selection, she led the league in steals in 2021 and 2022 and made the All-Rookie Team in 2017.

Clark, a fan favorite in Seattle, helped the Storm win titles in 2018 and 2020. She ranks fifth in franchise history with 300 games played and is known for her leadership both on and off the court.

Cooke, a 2023 first-round pick, is shooting a career-best 38.2% from three this season. The former South Carolina standout won a national title in 2022 and was a Third-Team All-American in 2023.
