Mystics Shock League-Leading Lynx with 68–64 Comeback Win

The Mystics erased a 14-point deficit to hand the Minnesota Lynx just their second loss of the season, winning 68–64 Tuesday night at CareFirst Arena.

Shakira Austin led the charge with 19 points and 8 rebounds, including a clutch putback to tie the game with 32 seconds left.

Sug Sutton followed with a steal and layup, and rookie Sonia Citron sealed it at the line.

Kiki Iriafen added a double-double (11 pts, 11 rebs), while the Mystics defense forced 19 turnovers and held Minnesota scoreless in the final three minutes.

Washington improves to 7–8, snapping their two-game skid in style.
