The Washington Mystics delivered one of their most impressive performances of the season, rallying late to defeat the Las Vegas Aces 70-68 on Thursday night. In a game defined by tough defense and relentless hustle, the Mystics showed grit and poise when it mattered most.

Down for most of the night, Washington surged ahead with a commanding 12-2 run to close the game. Brittney Sykes led all scorers with 18 PTS, while Shakira Austin added 16 PTS and 8 REBS in a dominant effort inside. Rookie Kiki Iriafen, earning a starting spot, impressed once again with 12 PTS and 8 REBS.

It was a complete team effort for the Mystics, who outworked and outlasted a talented Aces squad. The win marks a turning point as Washington continues to build confidence and chemistry heading into the second half of the season.
