Magic Roll Past Wizards 125–94 Behind Banchero’s Dominant Double-Double.

The Washington Wizards struggled to keep pace Friday night as the Orlando Magic cruised to a 125–94 win at Capital One Arena.

Paolo Banchero led the charge for Orlando with a powerful performance—28 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists—showing why he continues to be one of the league’s most versatile young stars. Franz Wagner added 25 points, while Wendell Carter Jr. anchored the paint with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Orlando dominated on both ends, shooting 51.1% from the field and holding Washington to under 40%. The Magic also controlled the glass with a 53–40 rebounding advantage and outscored the Wizards 62–52 in the paint.

For Washington, Kyshawn George provided a bright spot with 17 points, while CJ McCollum added 13 and Alex Sarrfinished with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Despite moments of energy from the young roster, the Wizards couldn’t recover from a rough second quarter where Orlando outscored them 43–21.

With the loss, the Wizards fall to 1–5 on the season, while the Magic improve to 3–4. Washington will look to regroup before their next matchup as they continue to search for consistency early in the campaign.
