Wizards Make Statement in 119–99 Win Over Nets
The Washington Wizards delivered one of their best performances of the season, cruising past the Brooklyn Nets 119–99. From the opening tip, Washington dictated the tempo, exploding for 37 first-quarter points and maintaining control throughout all four quarters.
Alex Sarr continued to show his impact, finishing with 19 PTS with 4 BLK. Justin Champagnie was relentless on both ends, with 20 PTS and grabbing 7 REB, while CJ McCollum provided veteran stability with 17 points and 6 boards. Bilal Coulibaly’s all-around effort stood out as well, as he contributed 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in an active two-way performance. Off the bench, Marvin Bagley III added timely scoring and physicality, tallying 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Washington will look to carry this momentum forward when they return to Capital One Arena this Sunday to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
