Mystics Cruise Past Sky, 90–72

The Washington Mystics turned in a commanding performance, defeating the Chicago Sky 90–72. Washington controlled the game from the opening tip, outscoring Chicago in every quarter and using a balanced offensive attack to secure the victory.

Shakira Austin led the Mystics with 17 points and 8 rebounds, providing a strong interior presence on both ends of the floor. Kiki Iriafen added a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, helping Washington dominate the glass and generate second-chance opportunities throughout the game.

Michaela Onyenwere also played a key role in the win, contributing 13 points and 7 rebounds while providing energy and efficient scoring off the wing.

The Mystics improved to 4–4 on the season with the victory, while the Sky fell to 3–6. Washington’s defensive intensity and balanced scoring proved to be the difference as they pulled away for an 18-point win.
