The Los Angeles Sparks backed up their dominant preseason win with numbers that reflected just how in control they were from start to finish.

Los Angeles shot an efficient 49% from the field and knocked down 11 three-pointers, stretching the defense and opening up driving lanes all night. Their ball movement was especially sharp, finishing with 25 AST on 29 made baskets. A clear sign the offense was flowing through multiple hands rather than relying on isolation.

Leading the way, Kelsey Plum poured in 22 points, going 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, while adding 2 steals. She controlled the tempo and set the tone offensively.

Defensively, the Sparks forced 24 turnovers and turned them into 26 points, a key factor in blowing the game open. They also recorded 10 steals as a team, consistently disrupting Nigeria’s offensive rhythm.
