Capital Debut: Trae Young Lights Up the Court in Wizards Colors

In his first official appearance with the Washington Wizards, Trae Young gave fans an early glimpse of what he can bring to Washington’s offense against the Utah Jazz.

In just 19 minutes, Young finished with 12 points (4–9 FG), 6 assists, and 2 steals, showing efficiency and poise in limited minutes. More importantly, his presence immediately changed the pace of the Wizards’ offense pushing the ball, creating space, and finding teammates in rhythm.

While it was only a short stint, Young’s debut highlighted the playmaking and leadership Washington hopes will elevate the team moving forward.
